This school was looking to revamp their strength section. As is often the case with schools, the majority of the strength equipment chosen was selectorised. Having selectorised equipment for schools is something we recommend as it is not only easier to use for the students, but also much safer. In addition to the selectorised machines we also installed a smith machine. Although this uses plates, the extra safety features such as the fixed bar offer much more stability and confidence for students, making it a better choice overall compared to a traditional half rack or squat rack. Finally, we installed a small free weights section including dumbbells, kettlebells, fixed barbells, slam balls and benches.
All of the strength machines installed were Attack Fitness, this is a fully commercial brand that has been around for over 30 years, and thanks to its durability and affordability, it is a brand often chosen by schools. The accessories and free weights were a mixture of Primal, Jordan Fitness, Swiss Barbell and Physical Company which are all well established brands.
